Part number 319-R7-06D.Upgrade your RAM to work with the magnetic EZ connector seven ways. This is going to allow you to have a standard seven way connection on a trailer that has a magnetic EZ connector. It's a face to face connection. There are no pins, or blades to break or bend. The magnetic connection is strong enough to hold it in place, but it's easy to disconnect when needed.It's going to allow you to maintain the factory seven way connection on your RAM, so you can still tow trailers with standard seven way connectors. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Durango we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Hopkins seven and four-pole trailer connector socket with mounting bracket, part number HM40975. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. This wiring harness will allow you to safely and legally tow a trailer, because on the right side of it we have our four-pole flat connector, and this gives us the basic lighting functions that are required by law and will refer us to safely and legally tow a trailer. We'll have our turn signals, our brake lights, our taillights, and our running lights, as well as the necessary ground connection that we need between our Durango and our trailer for everything to work properly.On one side of our connector, we have a seven-way connector here, and this gives you all the lighting functions that the four-pole had, plus reverse light output function, an electric brake controller output function, and also a 12-volt charge line kit. If you want to tow a trailer with electric brakes, though, you will require an additional brake controller on your vehicle, and we have multiple different options for that.Now what's nice about this is not only do we have our four-pole flat, but we have the seven-way RV connector here, so this gives us the ability to tow multiple different types of trailers without having to get adapters. We have all the wiring functions that we need built into this connector. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Dodge Durango, we'll be having a look at, and showing you how to install, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for factory tow package vehicles, with a 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number C55515.Here's what our wiring harness looks like installed. As you can see, we can easily secure it to our hitch using the dust cover to prevent it from dragging on the ground. Now, this wiring harness will allow you to safely and legally tow a trailer by having the required lights as needed by law. We'll have our right turn signal and right brake light off of this green wire, left turn signal and left brake light off the yellow wire, tail lights and running lights off the brown wire, and the necessary ground connection between our trailer and our Durango will be provided by this white wire.Now, many of our customers have said they really like how easy this was to install because it simply plugs right in to their factory tow package, and many have also stated that they've had it on their vehicle for several years, and they haven't encountered any problems with it. What I like about this wiring harness is that we have a very heavy-duty dust cover built into it, and it has a tether so you don't have to worry about losing the dust cap when you have it open. Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Dodge Journey we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56330.Here's what our wiring looks like once it's fully installed. It is going to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times, which is nice because it's going to be right by our hitch whenever we're ready to tow. It's going to give us a 4 pole flat trailer connector, which is going to have our ground, taillights, turn signals and brake lights, so we can get down the road safely and within the law. Now that we've seen the end result, let's go ahead and show you how we got it installed.To begin our installation, we're going to need to open up our rear hatch to gain access to our taillights. We're going to have a few fasteners holding our taillight in, and they're just going to be plastic push pins, so I'm going to take a flat head screwdriver and come to the notch, and pop out the center section of the push pin first, which is going to take some tension off. Once you have that center section popped out, you should be able to work the clip out, and then we can pop the rest of the clip out. more

Now, it is gonna live on the outside of the vehicle, but it does come with this protective dust cap. It's gonna help keep out moisture and any debris from getting inside our connector. The installation is pretty straight forward, with only a few connections to make behind the tail lights, as well as charging it a line up to the battery. Today on our 2012 Dodge Durango we're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118552. Here's what our wiring looks like fully installed. It is going to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times, so since it is going to be staying on the outside of the vehicle, it's going to have that cover so we don't have to worry bout any dirt and debris getting in there, as well as we can hook it onto our hitch and it's going to be ready for us whenever we're ready to tow. As you can see, you're going to have plenty of wire to hook up to your trailer and when you're finished, you can just hook your dust cap around your hitch, and then it'll be ready for you. This kit is going to allow you to tow your trailer with all the proper lighting, but also protect your vehicle in case there is an issue on the trailer end, it's not going to back=feed and do any damage to your vehicle's lighting system. Now that we've gone over some of these features, let's show you how to get it installed. To begin our installation we're going to need to open our back hatch and we're going to be removing our taillights. If we come to our taillights, we're going to have two small tabs here, I'm just going to be using a flathead screwdriver to pop that center section out. Just like that and we're going to repeat the same process for this one down here, and the other two on our other taillight. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Dodge Journey 118536- Video
Today our 2016 Dodge Journey we'll be installing the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118536. Here's what our wiring looks like once it's been installed. As you can see we have an adequate length of wire here to hook up to our trailer electrical connection nice and easy. It ends right next to where our draw bar for our hitch is inserted. This gives us our simple 4-pole flat, though it gives us all of our required lighting functions that we need by law. When we're not using it we have this nice dust cover that's built onto it, clips over like so. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2017 Dodge Durango, we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install the Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness with the four pull flat trailer connector. Part number is C55515. This is what our wiring harness is going to look like when we pull it out of the package, really nice, straightforward, easy install here. Basically we've got a plug here, this is going to go right into our factory prep package, we'll show you where to find that in just a moment. It's going to take those signals, running it through our wire, and it's going to leave us with right turn, and brake, left turn, and brake, running lights, and also ground. This is going to work out good for cargo carriers, it's going to work out good for trailers. Also, we're going to have a protective dust cap, that's going to go around the end and protect it against moisture, or dirt getting in the plug. more

Trailer Connector Socket Installation - 2017 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2017 Dodge Durango, we're going to show you how to install the Hopkins 7 and 4 Pole Trailer Connector Socket with Mounting Bracket, part number is HM40975. Here's our wiring kit installed. The thing I really like about it, we get both the 7 pole and the 4 pole here on the back of our vehicle. That's going to eliminate the need for us to carry around adapters to go from one to the other. Each cover is spring loaded. We've got stainless steel springs in here to help keep those doors closed. If you look inside, it's actually a rubber gasket that's going to go all the way around to prevent moisture and things like that from getting inside. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango we'll be installing the Curt T Connector vehicle wiring harness with 4 pull flat trailer connector, part number C56133. Here's what it looks like installed. We have our industry standard 4 pull flat trailer connector here. This will allow us to use any of the lights on our trailer, so we will have our DOT standard of tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights on our trailer. This will allow us to hook up to most rental trailers out there. Anything that doesn't have brakes or reverse functions for the most part this will work just fine for it. Today on our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Tow Ready T1 vehicle wiring harness with the four-pole flat trailer connector. Its part number is 118534. Now this is what our kit's going to look like when we pull it out of our package. This is our goal: having a working four-pole trailer connector at the rear of the vehicle. This gives us left and right, turn and brake, and also our running lights so our trailer or maybe cargo carrier is going to work without any kind of an issue.
